Dragons, myth or real?

DRAGON: MYTH OR REAL?

Once again the question pops in my mind, whether the dragon are real or not. Some are saying they are real and maybe even still living and kicking till nowadays. And some, well just say otherwise.

I once have to do a presentation, free topic and because of lack of time to find a suitable topic to be presented, DRAGON and it existence suddenly comes to my mind and eventually become my topic for the day.

Dragon, do they exist?
Personally, I myself have been debating it. There are no proof that they have ever walk the earth, no skeleton and anything. This we cannot argue.

But in the other hand, if they do not ever existed, then why throughout the world, there are stories about dragons, flying serpents that breath fire, majestic creature that roams the sky. Almost all old culture or civilization have their own stories about this creature. For example, China have their holy dragon, which they assume brought them prosperity. Then, the infamous Lancelot, Merlin or King Arthur stories, also have dragon, some good and bad. Mexican, Brazil and even Malaysia, the Malay people also have stories about dragon, Chini's Lake Dragon (naga tasik chini).

Here's the real question, if they are just stories of myth, why the culture around the world have almost the same identical characteristic of the dragon? They have different language, and most confusing of all, people at that time have no mean of transportation to even make contact with foreign country, which at different continent. Maybe at best, they only have boats not ships to transport them to other continent. After all, it is only at the beginning of civilization. :p
